Job Description
Key Responsibilities
\n1. Master data management for all geographies in scope
\nAccurately maintain financial master data which covers, but not limited to:
\no General ledger accounts
\no Cost centers
\no Profit centers
\no Tax codes
\no Vendor master
\no Material Master
\no Customer Master
\no Pricing
\no Product Hierarchies
\nConduct periodic reconciliations of organization's chart of accounts, including account codes, descriptions, and hierarchies, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
\nEnsure quality of master data alongwith documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. Initiate necessary actions against unused / redundant GLs/Cost Centres/Vendors/Materials/Customers etc. to maintain system hygiene and control.
\nConduct validation checks on data shared for creation of Vendor, Customer and Material Master to build robust processes
\nImprove MDO Fuse workflows to build better controls and approvals
\nTrain users and onboard them to MDO Fuse
\nTake Initiatives to automate and standardise processes across markets to build better controls
\nEnsure that master data management practices align with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
\nGenerate reports and conduct data analysis to monitor master data quality, accuracy, compliance, and performance.
\nAssist in analyzing discrepancies and variances in master data, investigating root causes, and suggesting corrective actions.
\nProvide accurate and well-organized data during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and transparency.
\nAssist in projects for SAP Implementation in new SAP instances and plant codes creation
\n2. Process improvement
\nCollaborate with the Master Data Manager and cross-functional teams to identify MDM process improvements and assist in the implementation of data-related enhancements.
\nStay updated on industry trends, master data tools, and data management best practices to enhance skills and contribute to MDM process enhancement.
\nMaintain and improve internal controls

\nKey Skills
\nTechnical Skills
\nProficiency in using SAP S/4HANA mandatory. Familiarity with MDO Fuse and SAP MDM will be a plus.
\nFamiliarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, Alteryx or other data visualization platforms to create clear and informative reports for stakeholders.
\nExcellent command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation techniques to facilitate financial analysis and reporting.
\nWorking knowledge of basic accounting practices, legalities and financial reporting requirements.
\nSoft Skills
\nCandidate should be well versed in English. Proficiency in Bahasa/Portuguese/Spanish will be a plus.
\nStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to data integrity.
\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
\nEffective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including finance teams, auditors, and management.

\nEducation
\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science or a related field.
\nA professional accounting designation or certification is a plus.
\nExperience
\n7 to 10 years of experience in master data management or a similar role within a finance or accounting function is required.
\nExperience of working in a financial shared services environment is preferred but not mandatory.
\nProven track record of process improvement and optimization initiatives within financial data management/closure activities or related financial processes will be advantageous.
\n
