Job Description
Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR:
\na. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.
\nAND
\nMinimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
\nAND
\nMinimum Research Score of 120
\nAND
\nSuccessfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.
\nb. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years shall be equivalent to Associate Professor.
\nOR
\nIn the event, the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
\ni. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline
\nii. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.
\nOR
\niii. First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.
\nAND
\niv. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and 10- 15 years’ managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.
\nc. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.
\nQualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
\na. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.

\nMinimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
\nAND
\nMinimum Research Score of 75
\nb. Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
\nOR
\nIn the event, that the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
\ni. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline
\nii. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two-year full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.
\nOR
\niii. First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.
\nAND
\niv. \nc. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.
\nQualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
\na. Ph.D. is mandatory with a minimum of 55% in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.
\nb. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
\nOR
\nFirst Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned bodies.
\nc. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable :
\ni) Ph.D. preferred with 2 years of experience.
\nii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
\nPublished work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.
\nPay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
