Job Title : Sr. Analyst, Application Support – ERP Finance

\n

Department: Finance Support / Enterprise Applications

\n

Location: Gurgaon / Indore

\n

I. Job Summary

\n

This intermediate-level position is responsible for the configuration, support, and enhancement of ERP Finance applications (primarily Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials). The role partners closely with Finance business users to ensure stable operations, accurate financial processing, and continuous system improvements.

\n

As part of the ERP Application Support team, this position provides technofunctional support across core Finance modules, supports month-end close activities, resolves production issues, and contributes to system enhancements with a focus on process simplification, automation, data integrity, and standardization.

\n

The role requires strong understanding of finance processes such as P2P, O2C, and R2R, along with hands-on ERP exposure.

\n

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

\n

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

\n

• Monitor ERP Finance systems and support queues; analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues

\n

• Provide production support for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial modules including:

\n

o General Ledger (GL)

\n

o Accounts Payable (AP)

\n

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

\n

o Fixed Assets (FA)

\n

o Cash Management (CM)

\n

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

\n

• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose long-term solutions

\n

• Configure and maintain ERP setups based on documented business requirements

\n

• Evaluate impact of configuration changes on sub-ledgers, SLA, GL, and downstream systems

\n

• Support ERP releases, patches, and upgrades, including:

\n

o Regression testing

\n

o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

\n

o Production validation

\n

• Execute and validate data imports/exports using FBDI and other tools

\n

• Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation between source systems, subledgers, and GL

\n

• Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and SOPs

\n

• Develop and support basic OTBI and BI Publisher reports

\n

• Collaborate with integration teams on data flows between ERP and external systems

\n

• Support ERP compliance, audit requests, and controls documentation

\n

• Provide Tier-2 support for user queries and assist in creating training/job aids

\n

• Act as a Finance SME and stay current with Oracle Fusion features and best practices

\n

IV. Qualifications

\n

A. Education and Experience

\n

Education:

\n

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent

\n

(MBA/CA preferred)

\n

Experience:

\n

Minimum 6+ years of ERP/Oracle Fusion Finance Application Support experience

\n

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

\n

• Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance Certification (Preferred)

\n

C. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

\n

• Strong understanding of Finance business processes:

\n

o Procure to Pay (P2P)

\n

o Order to Cash (O2C)

\n

o Record to Report (R2R)

\n

• Hands-on knowledge of SLA (Subledger Accounting) concepts:

\n

o Event models

\n

o Accounting rules

\n

o Journal flow to GL

\n

• Basic SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation

\n

• Understanding of Finance data models (AP, AR, GL tables)

\n

• Exposure to:

\n

o OTBI

\n

o BI Publisher

\n

o FBDI

\n

o REST APIs / integrations (basic)

\n

• Experience working in ITIL-based support models with SLAs

\n

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

\n

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

\n

• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability

\n
