Job Description
- High‑visibility, high‑impact legal role. \n
- Strong Career Growth in Specialized Finance Law \n\n
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to financial transactions. \n
- Ensure compliance with FEMA, IBA standards and applicable regulations. \n
- Advise internal teams on legal implications of financial services transactions. \n
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for prospective deals. \n
- Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with transactions. \n
- Collaborate with external legal counsel when required. \n
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting the financial services industry. \n
- Provide support in dispute resolution and litigation matters, if necessary. \n\n
- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university \n
- Master's degree or additional professional certifications in law will be a plus \n
- 8+ years of experience in banking transactions, preferably from the borrower side \n
- Law firm experience is mandatory \n
- Exposure to M&A and General Corporate Advisory is preferred
