- Retain existing accounts and develop new accounts in assigned market segment for carpet business \n
- Keep an eye on market trends and report to management regularly \n
- Conduct market research and analysis \n
- Identify and effectively pursue relevant business opportunities \n
- Meet or exceed sales targets with excellent customer services & market insights \n
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management \n
- Demonstrate professional know-how and market sense \n
- Establish long-term partnerships with potential industry stakeholders, partners and clients \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in carpet or related field preferred \n
- Experience can come from one or more of the following areas (listed in order of relevance, but our client is open to transferable backgrounds): \n
- Hospitality carpet sales , such as wall-to-wall carpets or hand-tufted rugs \n
- Other flooring solutions , including carpet tiles or hard flooring (e.g. SPC) \n
- Hospitality interior products , such as fabrics, furniture, or wall coverings \n
- Strong relationships or networks within international hospitality interior design firms (e.g. HBA, Kristina Zanic, or similar) \n
- Solid connections with hotel operators or end users , such as Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Marriott, or comparable brands \n
- Candidates without direct carpet or interior product experience may still be considered if they bring exceptional sales performance , strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to succeed in complex, consultative sales environments. \n
- Be able to take challenges to approach new potentials, never give up easily etc.. \n
- Strong communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English \n
- Possess strong sales technique and sound financial sense \n
- Positive, energetic and outgoing, possess a strong can-do attitude and able to work independently \n
- Eager to gain expert knowledge of the product, the market and customers \n
- Excellent team player and relationship builder with clients \n
- Good people management and development skills \n
