    Job Description

    \n

    \n

    Commercial Contracts:

    \n * Draft, review, and negotiate and finalise various commercial contracts including those for office space fit outs, procurement of goods and services, SAAS platforms, Hire-purchase and other financing agreements and also internal corporate related party agreements.

    \n * Standardisation of contracts/PO templates for various repetitive transactions.

    \n Corporate, Compliance & General Advisory:

    \n * Advise on compliance with Indian corporate laws, SEZ laws, and employment laws on an ongoing basis.

    \n * Support on entity-level compliance requirements during setup.

    \n * Assist with group policy/process adoption with necessary localisation for Indian laws.

    \n Stakeholder & Operational Support:

    \n * Liaise with cross-functional teams, Admin, Procurement, HR, Finance, on various legal day to day legal matters.

    \n * Provide contractual and legal support to business and project teams across Pune and Hyderabad offices.

    \n * Support in tracking and closing high-volume, fast-turnaround contract/compliance requirements.

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n

    A successful Legal Counsel should have:

    \n
  • A degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • \n
  • 6 - 10 years of experience
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of legal frameworks related to the energy and natural resources industry.
  • \n
  • Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • \n
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • \n
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
