Job Description
Qualification :
\n- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master’s preferred) \n
- Certifications (advantageous): PMP®, PgMP®, RICS, LEED, or equivalent \n
- 15–25 years of experience in construction project management of residential, commercial, institutional projects \n
- Proven track record of handling large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects from conception to completion. \n
- Project Management (Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control, Risk Management) \n
- Contract Management & Tendering \n
- Construction Supervision & Site Coordination \n
- Quality and Safety Management \n
- Leadership and Team Management \n
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills \n
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office \n
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in consultation with stakeholders. \n
- Prepare project execution strategy, master schedule, and milestone charts using MS Project . \n
- Review design and tender documents to ensure constructability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. \n
- Maintenance of existing buildings \n
- Co-ordinate with Finance team as and when required. \n
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, estimates, and cost plans. \n
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of bids and assist in contractor/vendor selection. \n
- Track project financial performance, manage variations, and ensure cost optimization. \n
- Supervise on-site execution through coordination with contractors, consultants, and site engineers. \n
- Ensure timely mobilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. \n
- Monitor progress through site inspections, daily reports, and review meetings. \n
- Implement effective change management and issue resolution processes. \n
- Enforce adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards (IS codes, NBC, etc.). \n
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) norms. \n
- Conduct regular quality and safety audits. \n
- Administer contracts, manage claims, and maintain correspondence with contractors and consultants. \n
- Ensure all statutory approvals and permits are obtained before and during execution. \n
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, drawings, and records. \n
- Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and government authorities for approvals and inspections. \n
- Conduct regular progress review meetings with management and stakeholders. \n
- Ensure effective communication among design, execution, procurement, and finance teams. \n
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and as-built documentation. \n
- Prepare project completion reports and handover documentation. \n
- Evaluate contractor performance and lessons learned for future projects.
