Senior Software Engineer - Base24-eps

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Base24-eps Switch Developer to join a high-performing payments engineering team supporting enterprise banking and financial platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Base24-eps payment switch development , real-time transaction processing, and HP NonStop/Tandem environments.

This role involves designing, enhancing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical payment switch systems operating in highly available production environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain Base24-eps payment switch applications and interfaces.

• Implement and support ISO8583, EMV, POS, and ATM transaction flows .

• Develop solutions using:

• SCOBOL

• COBOL
\n
• C/C++
\n
\n
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide permanent resolutions.
\n
• Perform performance tuning, system optimization, and capacity planning.
\n
• Support platform upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
\n
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams for smooth production releases.
\n
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit standards.
\n

• 5–12 years of experience in Base24-eps development and support .
\n
• Strong expertise in HP NonStop/Tandem systems .
\n
• Deep understanding of:

• ISO8583
\n
• EMV
\n
• POS/ATM transaction processing
\n
• Payment switching systems
\n
\n
• Experience integrating with:
\n
\n
• Card schemes
\n
• Host banking systems
\n
• Third-party payment processors
\n
\n
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills.
\n
• Experience with performance tuning and high-availability systems.
\n
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n

• Experience with Base24 Classic or other payment switch platforms.
\n
• Exposure to:

• HSMs
\n
• Tokenization
\n
• Fraud detection systems
\n
• Risk engines
\n
\n
• Knowledge of cloud-based payment architectures.

• Prior experience working with banking or financial services clients is preferred.

Suitable candidates with strong Base24-eps and Tandem experience are highly preferred.
