Advanced Micro - Linux Engineer, C, C++, Linux (Contract)

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 5 to 8 years

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days

Contract Role: 6 Months ( Third Party Payroll) (Extended)

R oles and Responsibilities :

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
\n
• Expert-level Bash scripting skills, including advanced use of functions, error handling, pipelines, and modular design.
\n
• Expertise in Linux CLI tools: awk, sed, grep, cut, xargs, etc.
\n
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, or Python.
\n
• Solid grasp of Linux internals, file systems, and performance-related tuning knobs (BIOS, kernel parameters, scheduler settings, etc.).
\n
• Proven ability to develop clean, well-documented, and maintainable scripts suitable for production.
\n
• Experience working with large-scale performance logs, especially from SoC or embedded platforms.
\n
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and/or scripting languages.
\n
• Experience executing industry-standard benchmarking tools such as SPEC, Cinebench, Geekbench, 3DMark, GFXbench, Unigine Heaven, FIO, iperf3. procyon, Mlperf.
\n
• Effective team collaboration and communication skills, including documentation and knowledge sharing.
\n
• Familiarity with CPU/GPU architecture concepts (e.g., core/thread scaling, throttling, power/frequency dynamics).
\n
• Experience with profiling tools: perf, turbostat, ftrace, Intel VTune, AMD uProf/AVT/AGM/AGT, GPU profilers, AMD RPG, Perfetto, Ryzen AI, RCOM Profiler etc.
\n
• Exposure to Windows performance tools: WPA, WPR, xperf, ETW, PerfView.
\n
• Exposure to Android SDK/NDK toolset.
\n
• Exposure PowerShell scripting on Windows.
