Vehicle & Hardware Support

\n

\n
  • Diagnose hardware‑linked failures in connected vehicles:
    \n TCU resets, signal loss, OTA download/flash failures, CAN/OBD anomalies, power and cellular issues.
  • \n
  • Analyze OBD logs, UART logs, TCU dumps , and telematics traces; prepare pre‑RCA data packs with VIN and scenario traceability.
  • \n
  • Validate issues on bench setups (HIL/SIL where applicable) and document clear reproducibility steps.
  • \n
  • Support OTA trials and regression checks for hardware‑dependent features; verify preconditions and rollback safety.
  • \n
  • Maintain diagnostic toolkits, triage checklists, and versioned playbooks ; close feedback loops with field teams.
  • \n

    \n

    App & Cloud Support

    \n

    \n
  • Investigate issues related to customer and dealer mobile applications : login, pairing, feature activation, notifications, and telematics data sync.
  • \n
  • Analyze app–cloud–vehicle data flow to isolate faults quickly and ensure correct ticket routing with minimal handoffs.
  • \n
  • Reproduce defects on Android and iOS test devices , collect logs, and upload complete evidence with timestamps.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with cloud, app, and vehicle engineering teams for cross‑domain failures.
  • \n
  • Maintain compatibility matrices across app versions, backend builds, and vehicle software.
  • \n
  • Support app and OTA feature launches , rollout documentation, and regression monitoring; validate end‑to‑end customer journeys.
  • Required Skills \n

    \n

    Technical Skills

    \n

    \n
  • Strong understanding of automotive electronics : CAN, LIN, ECUs, TCUs, OBD diagnostics, and physical layers (power, RF).
  • \n
  • Experience with CANalyzer, TCU logging tools , and interpretation of DTCs and CAN frames.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of SDV and OTA workflows , update preconditions, and rollback safety.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of Android & iOS application flows , session handling, and permissions.
  • \n
  • Hands‑on experience with API debugging tools (Postman, Charles Proxy) and mobile log collection.
  • Experience \n
  • 3–6 years of experience in vehicle electronics, telematics, connected vehicles, mobile app support, or technical operations .
