    Job Description

  • Own the integrity and accuracy of the General Ledger (GL) including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • \n
  • Ensure all accounting entries, accruals, allocations, journals, reclassifications, and reversals are conducted in accordance with corporate policy and applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) across Europe & America entities.
  • \n
  • Implement and enforce best practices for GL maintenance, reconciliation, and classification to support reliable financial reporting.
  • \n
  • Monitor and resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies, escalating as needed with recommended solutions.
  • \n
  • Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and statutory stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and analytical quality.
  • \n
  • Provide Management Information System (MIS) outputs with insightful analyses of key performance indicators, trends, variances, forecasts, and business performance drivers.
  • \n
  • Ensure harmony between statutory financials, management reporting, and internal forecasts.
  • \n
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to understand business drivers and translate them into financial performance insights.
  • \n
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, internal auditors, and corporate office needs.
  • \n
  • Coordinate audit plans, schedules, fieldwork support, and deliverables for both internal and external audits.
  • \n
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of accounting and reporting professionals.
  • \n
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, identify coaching needs, and support professional growth
  • \n

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n

    A Qualifed Chartered Accountant, additional accounting certifications (, IFRS) are preferred.

    \n · Minimum of 18+ years of post qualification experience in GL accounting & book closing, financial reporting, MIS reporting and regulatory compliance.

    \n
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership capacity with responsibility for financial reporting, audit coordination, or compliance.
  • \n



    \n · Understanding of financial & regulatory compliance across UK and Europe regions preferred.

    \n · Proven track record in driving financial excellence for a large organisation with multi- geography presence or with a Shared-Services center of a global MNC.
