Roles & Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)
  • \n
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions;
  • \n
\n

identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements

\n
    \n
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
  • \n
  • Understand current business requirements, processes and objectives, develop necessary functional modifications to satisfy business needs.
  • \n
  • Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
  • \n
  • Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
  • \n
  • Act as liaison with business for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve current configuration set up based on the additional requirements
  • \n
  • Document functional designs, test cases and results.
  • \n
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
  • \n
  • Provide services on both new implementations and existing support projects
  • \n
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  • \n
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
  • \n
  • Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
  • \n
\n

Required skills:

\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 3 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System.
  • \n
  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, HR, PP and PM
  • \n
  • Experience in process industry is an added advantage
  • \n
  • Very good communication skills
  • \n
  • Good team player and ability to collaborate with business teams
  • \n
  • Ability to understand business processes from a customer
  • \n
  • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
