Job Description

- Lead end-to-end execution of multiple smart meter installation projects across allocated geographies. \n
- Define project strategy, goals, and delivery roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives. \n
- Monitor KPIs, timelines, budgets, and ensure adherence to regulatory and client requirements. \n
- Establish governance frameworks for efficient monitoring, reporting, and risk mitigation. \n
- Oversee project managers, site engineers, and functional leads for seamless execution. \n
- Drive resource optimization across multiple projects ensuring cost-effectiveness. \n
- Act as the primary escalation point for clients, government bodies, DISCOMs, and key stakeholders. \n
- Conduct regular review meetings with clients and internal leadership to report progress, risks, and mitigation plans. \n
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships with clients and partners. \n
- Ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards, safety norms, and quality benchmarks. \n
- Drive implementation of best practices, process improvements, and innovative technologies. \n
- Lead and mentor project managers, technical teams, and support staff. \n
- Build a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning. \n
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, and capability building for large-scale deployments. \n
- On-time, on-budget delivery of multiple projects. \n
- Achievement of installation and commissioning targets. \n
- High client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory frameworks. \n
- Effective governance, reporting, and risk management across all projects. \n
- Development of future-ready, skilled teams. \n\n
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (Master's preferred). \n
- PMP / Prince2 or equivalent certification is an advantage. \n
- 15+ years of project management experience, with at least 8-10 years in large-scale infrastructure/utility projects. \n
- Proven track record in leading multi-location smart meter / power distribution / utility projects. \n
- Strong knowledge of DISCOM operations, AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), and smart grid technologies. \n
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability. \n
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. \n
- Ability to manage ambiguity and work in high-pressure environments. \n
- High integrity and commitment to organizational values.
