\n Business Environment
\n Airops (AOP), previously known as Airport and Airline Operations (AAO), is a leading industry platform in airline and airport operations. It aims to deliver a seamless and personalized passenger experience, optimize airport operations, and automate disruption resolution among airlines, airports, border control, and air traffic control.
\n Within Airops, the Data and Platform department (DAP) plays a central role, working on various cloud-native products that facilitate the use and exchange of data across all AOP products. Supported by the Creation Platform, DAP builds simple and powerful data management capabilities, enabling near real-time data, big data insights, and AI to benefit customers and all Airops teams and products.
\n About the Role
\n You will be part of a team of about 10 people, including software development engineers, quality analysts, data scientists, and a scrum master. The team works on the Airport Insights (Big Data platform) and Fast Data platform, collaborating with other teams located in Nice and London.
\n As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work on both Airport Insights and Fast Data, initially splitting your time 50/50 between the two products, with the possibility of this evolving overtime.
\n Key Responsibilities
\n Interface Control Documents: Collaborate with customers, third-party middleware providers, and internal teams to define Interface Control Documents for Fast Data.
\n Standard Data Models: Participate in defining standard data models and act as a change agent for their implementation within the team and Airops, through the Data Office.
\n Product Specifications: Develop detailed product specifications and user stories to guide the development team.
\n Data Platform Maintenance: Participate in the monitoring and maintenance of the Data Platform.
\n Data Pipelines: Collaborate with data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing and integration.
\n Dashboards and Reporting: Collaborate with data engineers to design dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights.
\n Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure alignment and clarity.
\n Quality Assurance: Assist in testing and validating data products to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
\n Project Management: Manage and prioritize tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery of data products.
\n Ideal Candidate Profile
\n Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data-driven environment.
\n Customer Interaction: Proven experience in interacting with customers and third parties.
\n Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the airline and/or airport industry.
\n Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
\n Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data management, data pipelines, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
\n Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.
\n Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
\n Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
\n Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
