Job Description
- Lead sourcing activities for electrical components such as:Switchgear (MCB, MCCB, relays, contactors, etc.)Cable harnesses and wiring assembliesConnectors, terminals, and other electrical parts \n
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (domestic & international) \n
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations, value engineering, and alternate sourcing \n
- Develop and implement supplier strategy aligned with business goals \n
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality, delivery, and technical requirements \n
- Collaborate with:Design / R&D teams for new product developmentQuality teams for supplier audits and issue resolutionManufacturing for production readiness \n
- Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers \n
- Monitor supplier performance (QCD – Quality, Cost, Delivery) \n
- Manage RFQs, cost analysis, and benchmarking \n
- Support localization and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives
