Pre-Sales Engineer,AV Solutions

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pre-Sales Engineer for our Digital Workplace practice, focused on Audio-Video (AV) and Collaboration Solutions. This role will support the sales team by capturing customer requirements, designing AV solutions, coordinating with OEMs, and preparing impactful technical proposals and presentations for enterprise and government clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AV technology design and be confident in client-facing technical discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and design scalable, reliable AV and digital workplace solutions.

Lead the pre-sales lifecycle including requirement gathering, solution architecture, product positioning, and technical presentations.

Design end-to-end AV solutions including boardroom setups, huddle rooms, townhall environments, auditoriums, and hybrid collaboration spaces.

Prepare solution documentation such as BOQ, SOW, layout drawings, AV signal flow diagrams, and LLDs.

Liaise with AV and UC OEMs like Crestron, Extron, Barco, Logitech, Shure, Poly, Cisco, and Zoom for technical validations and commercial support.

Deliver client demos, proof-of-concepts, and solution walkthroughs.

Support bid processes, RFP/RFQ responses, and ensure technical compliance documentation is accurate and compelling.

Provide support to the delivery team during implementation and ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution.

Train internal sales and technical teams on AV technologies, product updates, and solution trends.

Stay up to date with emerging trends in unified communications, video collaboration, digital signage, and workspace modernization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Electronics, IT, or a related field.

3 6 years of experience in AV solutions design, pre-sales, or consulting roles.

Strong technical knowledge of AV/VC technologies including displays, processors, microphones, speakers, control systems, and UC platforms.

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex, and other video conferencing platforms.

Experience designing solutions with Crestron, Extron, Logitech, Poly, Barco, or similar AV OEMs.

Proficient in creating system designs, wiring schematics, and AV layouts.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS, Crestron DMC-E, Extron Control Specialist) are an added advantage.
