About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to guide Agile teams in delivering high-quality solutions while fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to Scrum principles. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects and delivery of business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, practices, and values.
- Remove impediments and help teams maintain focus on sprint goals and delivery commitments.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs, define user stories, and establish clear acceptance criteria.
- Track project progress and communicate status, risks, dependencies, and issues to stakeholders.
- Support planning activities, resource coordination, and execution of Agile initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure quality expectations are understood and met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assist in coordinating defect resolution, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of relevant experience working in Agile environments as a Scrum Master.
- Overall professional experience should not exceed 9 years.
- Scrum Master Certification is mandatory (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting Agile delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience creating and managing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Exposure to testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance processes.
- Prior experience working in large enterprise environments.
