Senior Site Reliability Engineer - CTR - GCC

Description

Senior Site Reliability Engineers will assist product engineering teams in setting up and managing applications using our internal developer platform and best practices. SRE engineers assist in a wide variety of projects, including AWS infrastructure setup, application monitoring and alerting, defect troubleshooting, automation of routine tasks, and incident management. Ideal candidates feel comfortable diving in with engineering teams and troubleshooting complex problems in a variety of environments and approaching problems with a software and automation driven mindset.

Required Experience

Experience, education and qualifications essential to success in this role include:

• • 7 + years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment and/or with microservices architectures
  • Expertise with a core language and framework (Java, C#, Python)
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and AWS the Well Architected Framework
  • Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code using tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Experience managing services in a container environment Kubernetes
  • Self-motivated and self-managing, able to proactively identify work, handle tasks, and complete work without supervision
  • Excellent communication, coding, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
