- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key performance indicators and business trends.
- Connect to various data sources, including databases, data warehouses, cloud services, and spreadsheets.
- Develop and implement robust data models within Power BI, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Power Query (M language) and other relevant tools.
- Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries to create calculated measures, columns, and tables.
- Excellent SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through data validation and quality checks.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data sources.
- Document technical specifications, data flows, and report designs.
