Job Description: Cloud Engineer - AWS Cloud App Migration Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud App migration, Lift, and Shift Migration Automation, EC2 migrations, EKS Migration, On-prem storage to EBS, S3 and EFS. The ideal candidate will lead the migration of on-premises applications to AWS, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute migrations of on-prem applications using AWS MGN
• Strong understanding of AWS VM migrations using 7Rs Strategy
• Fundamental understanding of EC2, ASG, EBS, EFS, ALB
• Design and implement automated application migrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues.
• Application migration experience especially monolithic and microservices webapps

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of AWS cloud experience.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud compute (EC2, EKS) and Storage (s3, EBS and EFS).
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and migration tools.
• AWS & Terraform certification preferred.

Having knowledge of AWS DMS, RDS (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, MySql) is an advantage
