Experience & Educational Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

(degree, training, or certification required)

Dredge master Grade 1 or Dredge Mate with sailing experience on TSHD's and shore experience of working as Project manager. Or MTECH in Harbour and dredging with experience in TSHD projects or Civil Engineer with TSHD project experience
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) 10 / 15 Yrs.

Accountabilities and KPIs (8-10 key activities / decisions for which this role is accountable )

Key Accountabilities

1.

Project Planning: Do complete planning for the project, select the dredger for the job, do scheduling and plan for mobilization. Coordinate for mobilization, crew, spares, consumables and survey equipment.

2.

Technical and Operational Management : Oversee daily TSHD operations, optimize dredging parameters, monitor production, Ensure compliance with the dredging design, trouble shoot operational issues, coordinate with surveyors to validate daily dredging quantities, interim surveys, pre and post surveys.

HSE : Implement and enforce HSE at site

Contract management : Ensure work is exceuted as per contract terms and BOQ, Monitor progress and benchmark with planned

Crew and Vessel Management: Coordinate with Master and CE , ensure competent crew manning as per Safe manning and project requirement, coordinate maintenance schedule with Technical.

6.

Reporting and documentation: Prepare DPR, Weekly / monthly reports, maintain project close out documentations.

7.

Project Closeout : ensure final survey meets contract requirements, Finalize quantities, claims and completion certificates, prepare lesson learnt , Demobilize efficiently from site on completion of project.
