Job Summary
We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in CMDB and Discovery to design, develop, implement, and support ServiceNow ITOM solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CMDB implementation, Discovery configuration, Service Mapping, integrations, and platform customization while ensuring data quality and governance.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery solutions.

Configure and maintain Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, and patterns.

Implement and support CMDB data model, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and CI Class Manager.

Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Configure and maintain Service Mapping for business services and application dependencies.

Integrate CMDB with third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot MID Servers.

Monitor Discovery jobs and resolve identification, reconciliation, and data quality issues.

Implement CMDB governance, health dashboards, and best practices.

Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams to onboard Configuration Items (CIs).

Perform platform upgrades, patch validations, and production support.

Create technical documentation, knowledge articles, and deployment documentation.
Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.

Experience with Service Mapping.

Good knowledge of MID Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) and CMDB Data Manager.

Experience configuring Discovery Patterns, Probes, and Sensors.

Strong scripting skills using JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.

Experience with IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and SOAP web services.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM modules.

Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and deployments.

Familiarity with cloud discovery (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.

Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (Preferred).
-
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is an added advantage.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
