\nJob Description:
\nWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Financial Accountant to manage our client accounting projects and migration projects from other accounting software to Zoho Books. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless transition for our clients and maintaining the integrity of their financial data.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nAccounting Management:
\n- Manage and oversee monthly client accounting operations within Zoho Books.
\n- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
\n- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records.
\n- Conduct regular audits and resolve discrepancies.
\n- Perform detailed reconciliation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
\nMigration Projects:
\n- Plan and execute data migration projects from various accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to Zoho Books.
\n- Develop customized migration strategies tailored to each client's business operations.
\n- Ensure zero downtime and seamless business operations during live migration processes.
\n- Guarantee secure and thorough transfer of financial data, including legacy data up to 20 years.
\n- Perform detailed reconciliation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
\n- Identify and resolve any data inconsistencies or errors.
\n- Offer up to 6 months of post-migration support to ensure clients are fully proficient and comfortable with the new system.
\n- Address client queries and provide solutions to any issues that arise during the transition.
\nProject Management:
\n- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of migration and accounting projects.
\n- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics.
\n- Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes and procedures.
\nContinuous Improvement:
\n- Stay updated with the latest developments in Zoho Books and other accounting software.
\n- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of migration projects.
\n- Contribute to the development of best practices for data migration and client support.
\nRequirementsRequired Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Inter Chartered Accountant (CA) OR Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance \n
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional accounting experience \n
- Strong proficiency in online accounting software (Zoho Books preferred) \n
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting \n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: IF formulas, Lookups, Pivot Tables \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client or business-facing interactions \n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills \n
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines \n
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ownership-driven environment \n
- Ability to work EST hours (5:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST) consistently \n
