SAP FICO

• We are seeking highly skilled SAP FICO/FICA knowledge, who can identify test scope for each change. Also plan, track, manage and report status of the project deliverables, and ensure the testing process is defi ned and adhered to. You should handle the SAP FICA/FICO area independently and work with a team to plan E2E testing delievrables.
• Test management tool JIRA needs to maintain all the testing artifacts. You will be responsible for coordinating different stakeholders, conducting daily status meetings, follow up on open issues with different stakeholders and make sure defi ned processes followed throughout testing phases.

Test Planning & Test Management

• Define and develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
• Identify testing scope for every project change or enhancement.
• Design comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Plan, track, manage, and report testing deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain all testing artifacts using JIRA.
• Ensure testing processes and quality standards are consistently followed.
• Mentor team members in preparing effective test cases and test scripts.

Test Execution

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across:
  • Unit Testing
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • Regression Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
• Execute SAP FICO/FICA testing independently.
• Validate end-to-end finance business processes.
• Support hypercare activities following production deployment.

SAP Finance Testing

• Validate General Ledger (GL) transactions.
• Verify Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Validate Accounts Receivable (AR) functionality.
• Test Asset Accounting processes.
• Validate Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting.
• Test Internal Orders and Settlement processes.
• Validate Consolidation and Financial Reporting.
• Test month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Validate reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Verify revenue recognition processes.
• Test FICA postings and FICO transfers.
• Validate BIT creation and invoicing processes.
• Perform finance-related end-to-end integration testing.

Defect Management

• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Participate in defect triage meetings.
• Collaborate with development teams for defect resolution.
• Perform defect verification and regression testing after fixes.

Collaboration

• Work closely with SAP FICO/FICA functional consultants.
• Coordinate with business users during testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams including:
  • OTC (Order to Cash)
  • RTR (Record to Report)
  • Other integrated SAP workstreams
• Conduct daily status meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide timely updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.

Data Validation & Cutover

• Validate migrated financial data.
• Support cutover planning and execution activities.
• Perform post-go-live validation and hypercare testing.
• Ensure data accuracy during migration and production deployment.

Documentation

• Review functional specifications and business requirements.
• Review process flows for RTR and finance modules.
• Document test execution results.
• Maintain testing documentation in accordance with project standards.
• Ensure compliance with testing and quality assurance processes.

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP FICO testing.
• Hands-on experience in SAP FICO/FICA functional testing and end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Experience working on SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments.
• Strong background in finance business process validation, integration testing, and regression testing.
