Scope:

• Core responsibilities include architecting, designing, migration and implementation, testing, training (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) of ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in supply chain demand & supply planning for Manufacturing & Retail Industry segment.
• The incumbent should be passionate about working with new technologies and products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.

Essential Job Functions:

• Analysis and assessment of existing customer’s BY solution for migration to Cognitive Planning.
• Work as BY solution architect for Merchandise Financial Planning for new Implementations and migrations into BY Azure cloud.
• Conducts/leads business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications.
• Design and build customer PoC and demo along with presales and solution demo team.
• Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post go-live and efficient support operations.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Assist Project Managers in planning efforts.
• Communicates and/or supports the business cases to PMG and PD regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.
• Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project. Creates detailed tasks on overall project plan (i.e. during sales cycle, after the project plan is complete, or based on enhancements).
• Develops and executes test scripts to ensure BY software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
• Develops functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design.
• Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team. Is a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and is able to apply that knowledge to customer situations.
• Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology. Provides non-technical support during the "go-live" period and knowledge transition during project roll-off.
• Provides primary user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity.
• Prepare and conduct internal and external solution training and support larger team enablement.
• Provides guidance to support services in responding to base technical issues.
• Perform new product solution validation and end to end data flow, solution, interface, workflow & reports and performance testing. Raise Jira & case tickets & provide feedback to PD/PMG on defects & enhancements.
• Flexible working with overlapping time zones.

Qualifications:

• 4 - 20 years of hands-on experience, as an architect or business consultant in retail planning solutions, with at least 5 years focused on JDA/Blue Yonder Enterprise Planning on EKB.
• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.
• Deep functional expertise in Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) processes like Pre-Season & In-Season Planning, Planning by Attribute, Assortment Planning, and logical model design.
• Strong understanding of the grocery and fashion retail planning domain.
• Proven track record of implementing complex planning hierarchies across product, location, and time dimensions.
• Practical experience with both Retail and Cost accounting methodologies in planning solutions.
• Deep knowledge of EP on EKB architecture and data flow.
• Has working experience of AI/ ML algorithms. Working experience of R, python packages.
• Understands Time series forecasting.
• Understanding data base, snowflake, azure, SaaS technical platform, devops operations.
• Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical & machine learning algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required.
• Relevant industry certification from APICS will be a plus.
• Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels within customer's/BY organization.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, PD, PMG and consultants. Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, effectively and proactively.
• Passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.

• Need SCPO implementation experience must not be a user.
