We are seeking a skilled and proactive GCP DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud security. You will play a crucial role in automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment workflows, and maintaining highly available and scalable systems.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, etc.
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Monitor system performance and ensure system reliability and availability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline DevOps practices.
- Automate cloud operations and improve deployment and rollback processes.
- Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting with tools such as Stackdriver (Cloud Operations), Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and manage IAM roles, policies, and service accounts.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git), and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for IaC.
- Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
- Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiarity with cloud security, networking, and load balancing on GCP.
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
