SAP BW

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP BW on HANA Implementation: Design, develop, and implement SAP BW on HANA solutions, including data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting.

• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain SAP BW data models, including InfoObjects, DataStore Objects (DSOs), Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), InfoCubes, and CompositeProviders using SAP HANA.

• ETL Processes: Build and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various source systems (SAP and non-SAP) using SAP BW on HANA tools (e.g., Data Services, SLT, BODS).

• Performance Optimization: Optimize SAP BW on HANA system performance through tuning of data models, process chains, and HANA views, ensuring fast and efficient data processing.

• Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, both SAP and non-SAP systems, into SAP BW on HANA for reporting and analytics.

• Reporting and Analytics: Support business users in reporting and analytics by working with tools like SAP Business Explorer (BEx), SAP BusinessObjects (BO), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Data Migration and Upgrades: Assist in the migration and upgrade of older SAP BW systems to SAP BW on HANA and ensure a smooth transition to the HANA-based platform.

• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot SAP BW on HANA environments, resolve data load and performance issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.

• Collaboration with Business: Work closely with business stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and implement them within the SAP BW on HANA system.

• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, process chains, and ETL procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
