Threat Intelligence Analyst – Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Threat Intelligence Analyst to enhance our cybersecurity defenses by proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats. This role involves gathering and evaluating data from various sources to foresee potential threats, providing actionable intelligence to improve our organization's security posture.
Key Responsibilities

• Threat Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze threat intelligence data from diverse sources, including threat feeds, open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, and internal data logs.
• Threat Identification & Assessment: Identify and assess potential cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, correlating data to detect patterns and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Reporting & Dissemination: Develop and disseminate threat reports, advisories, and briefings to inform stakeholders of emerging threats and risks.
• Collaboration with Security Teams: Work closely with incident response, security operations center (SOC), and other cybersecurity teams to enhance threat mitigation strategies and incident response plans.
• Continuous Monitoring: Monitor and analyze cyber threat trends, attack methodologies, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to stay ahead of evolving threats.
• Security Posture Improvement: Provide recommendations for improving security posture based on threat intelligence findings, including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards by identifying and addressing areas of risk
