SAP Basis
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration: Perform daily administration, monitoring, and support of SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, HANA DB, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
Installation & Configuration: Install and configure SAP systems and components, including enhancement packages, support packs, and kernel upgrades.
System Monitoring: Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
User & Role Management: Manage users, roles, and authorizations in SAP environments, ensuring compliance with internal security policies.
Database Administration: Support for SAP HANA and other databases (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2) related to SAP systems.
Transport Management: Manage SAP transport requests, including import/export and troubleshooting transport-related issues.
Backup & Recovery: Ensure backup procedures are in place and perform system recovery when needed.
System Refresh/Copy: Execute system copies and refreshes as per project or business requirements.
Security & Patch Management: Apply SAP security notes and patches, and ensure systems are up to date with the latest fixes.
Upgrades & Migrations: Assist in SAP system upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and conversion projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA).
Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional, development, and infrastructure teams for system integration and issue resolution.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, procedures, configurations, and support tasks.
