Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 4 years of experience in designing and developing business intelligence dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and data visualization best practices to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports.
Gather requirements from business users and translate them into functional BI solutions.
Create and optimize data models (star/snowflake schemas) in Power BI using Power Query and DAX.
Integrate data from various sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Ensure data accuracy and performance optimization of reports and datasets.
Implement row-level security (RLS), data refresh scheduling, and publishing of Power BI reports.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand data needs.
Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and provide timely resolutions.
Stay current on Power BI updates, best practices, and new features.
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and administration.
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and creating complex calculated measures.
Strong experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
Solid knowledge of SQL and experience querying large relational databases.
Experience working with various data sources such as Azure, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs, etc.
Understanding of data visualization principles and UI/UX best practices.
Good communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
