Key Responsibilities:
· Project Management: Coordinate and manage the day to day operations, multi-phase network projects, ensuring they align with the change and release calendar.
· Team Coordination: Work closely with engineers, program managers, and other support teams to ensure seamless delivery of network services.
· Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of network services, taking corrective actions as needed.
· Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service delivery meets agreed terms.
· Service Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in network service delivery and implement necessary changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Technical Skills: Strong understanding of network technologies including the advance technologies such as SDN, SASE, Cloud etc.
· Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and resources effectively.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
· Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with vendors and service providers.
Educational Background:
· Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is often required.
· Master's Degree: An advanced degree, such as an MBA or a Master's in a related field, can be advantageous.
Certifications:
· Networking: Certifications such as Cisco's CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certifications.
· ITIL: ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification for IT service management.
· Project Management: Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2.
Experience:
· Work Experience: 15+ years of experience in network management, IT project management, or a related field.
· Leadership Experience: 8+ Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects.
