Technical Skills & Experience: Extensive Python Development:

Over 10 years of relevant software development experience with Python.

Behaviour-Driven Development:

Extensive delivery experience of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and writing testable code.

Agile Methodologies:

Proven experience working in agile teams, demonstrating the application of agile principles with lean thinking.

Data Engineering:

Useful experience blending data engineering with core software engineering.

Additional Programming Skills:

Desirable experience with other programming languages (C++, .NET) and frameworks.

CI/CD Tools:

Familiarity with Github Actions is a plus.

Cloud Platforms:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS,) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Code Optimization:

Proficient in profiling and optimizing Python code. Executable Documentation: Awareness of executable documentation concepts. Trading Application Support: Experience in providing support for trading applications.

Databricks:

Experience with Databricks is a plus. FastAPI and Async Processing: Proven experience with FastAPI and async processing.

General Skills & Experience:

Domain Knowledge: Critical experience within a finance or trading environment.

Commercial Awareness: Understanding the effort invested in relation to business benefits.

Prioritization: Ability to identify and facilitate effective prioritization decisions amidst complexity.

Knowledge Sharing: Experience collaborating with team members to build and share knowledge.
