What you'll achieve
The Delivery Specialist will be responsible for Implementing, Supporting and Troubleshooting the upgrades of datacenters built using Vxblock from Remote. He/She should have Expert knowledge in Implementing & Supporting one or more of the Technology Domains such as Datacenter Networking, Unified Datacenter Storage Infrastructure, VMware Virtualization & Cisco UCS Compute Infrastructure. He/She should have working knowledge of Datacenter Networking, Unified Datacenter Storage Infrastructure, VMware Virtualization & Cisco UCS Compute Infrastructure and open to picking up the skills around the areas other than their specialization'
You will:
- Responsible for implementing, tuning and maintaining VMware-based solutions
- Implements VMware vSphere for server consolidation and virtualization
- Reviews existing technology implementations and suggests and implements improvements and upgrades ( e.g: VCENTER Server/ESXi)
- Provides guidance to management for changes related to virtual infrastructure. Maintains awareness of VMware software patches and their impact on the environment
- UCS administration, with experience creating templates, service profiles, and firmware updates

Essential Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of related experience in CI Converged Infrastructure. Strong experience on implementation/ Upgrade of VMware Vcenter, ESXi
- Should have good knowledge on performing health check and troubleshoot system performance within the VMware environment
- Experience in Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)experience in Cisco IOS routing & switching
- Strong experience with VMware vSphere (ESX/ESXi, vCenter), including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of hosts, clusters, and virtual machines
- Knowledge on NSX & Nutanix with experience in Converged Network and/or Unified Storage Infrastructure in Datacenter
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Cisco networking and Cisco UCS desired
- VMware Certified Professional certification (VCP) is preferred. CCNA/CCNP or CCIE certification

Essential Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of core platforms including VMware (ESXi, vCenter, VM lifecycle), Nutanix AHV (VM management, Prism UI), and basic PowerFlex storage operations.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure fundamentals such as virtualization concepts, storage basics, and networking (IP, DNS, VLAN awareness).
- Operating system familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments at a basic level.
- Experience with ITSM and monitoring tools including ServiceNow (or equivalent) and platform-specific alerting tools like vCenter and Prism.
- Relevant professional experience of 2-5 years in infrastructure support, preferably within managed services or service delivery environments.
Desirable Requirements
- Hands-on exposure to enterprise virtualization and storage platforms, enhancing troubleshooting and operational efficiency.
- Experience working in structured service environments, including adherence to processes, SLAs, and operational best practices.
You will:
- Manage incidents and perform L2 troubleshooting across VMware (ESXi, vCenter), Nutanix (AHV, Prism), and PowerFlex, resolving VM, storage, and cluster-related issues while ensuring service stability.
- Execute and support approved changes including VM provisioning/decommissioning, resource updates, storage mapping, cluster maintenance, patching/upgrades, and handling migration failures, while strictly adhering to change management processes.
- Monitor systems and perform health checks by tracking cluster health, storage performance, and capacity utilization, proactively addressing alerts and preventing potential incidents.
- Provide operational support and escalation handling by collecting logs, conducting initial analysis, supporting incident bridges, and participating in daily operational reviews and handovers.
- Ensure continuous 247 support operations by working in rotating shifts, managing handovers effectively, and supporting hardware health checks and break-fix activities.
