Role Overview
We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst with strong hands-on experience in cloud engineering, automation, and secure architecture across AWS and Azure.
This role emphasizes building, automating, and integrating security controls into cloud environments and delivery pipelines, with a lighter focus on traditional governance and risk reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Engineering & Security Automation (Primary Focus)
- Design and implement secure-by-default cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
- Build and automate security guardrails across:
- Identity & access management
- Network configurations
- Data protection & encryption
- Secrets and key management
- Develop automation to continuously enforce security controls across cloud workloads.
- Integrate security checks and validations into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Define and implement policy-as-code using CSPM/CNAPP platforms.
DevSecOps & Platform Integration
- Review and secure Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) before deployment.
- Build reusable modules and templates for secure cloud provisioning.
- Automate security validation and compliance checks in build and release pipelines.
- Work closely with engineering teams to embed security controls into development workflows.
Cloud Security Monitoring & Posture
- Configure and fine-tune cloud security tools (CSPM/CNAPP, detection platforms).
- Automate detection of:
- Misconfigurations
- Excessive permissions
- Network/data exposure
- Support remediation by creating automated fixes or guided workflows.
- Perform lightweight risk assessments focused on practical remediation and engineering improvements.
Skills You'll Need
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Solid Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM) expertise.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell / Python) for automation.
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with CSPM/CNAPP platforms and policy automation.
- Understanding of Zero Trust and least-privilege principles (practical implementation focused).
- Ability to work closely with developers and platform teams to build secure solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with container security / Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads in cloud environments.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
