We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), PostgreSQL, Microservices Architecture, and Kubernetes-based deployments. The role involves designing and developing scalable APIs, enterprise applications, and microservices while integrating with internal and external systems using modern authentication, messaging, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in backend application design, REST API development, event-driven architectures, database optimization, and cloud-native application development. The candidate should be comfortable working across the entire software development lifecycle, from solution design to production deployment and support. | |

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF). - Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend platforms supporting enterprise-scale workloads. - Design and implement Microservices Architectures with clear service boundaries, resiliency, and scalability considerations. - Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven patterns. - Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, indexing strategies, and performance tuning activities. - Implement asynchronous processing using Kafka and message-driven architecture patterns. - Integrate applications with enterprise authentication and authorization platforms using OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth2, and Azure Entra ID. - Implement secure secret management utilizing Vault/OpenBao and security best practices. - Create and maintain Docker images and support Kubernetes-based deployments. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. - Develop automated unit, integration, and API tests to ensure application quality and reliability. - Participate in architecture design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities. - Produce technical documentation, API specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks. |
Essential: - 6–10 years of experience in Software Engineering with strong focus on Python development. - Expert-level hands-on experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF). - Strong experience designing and implementing Microservices-based architectures and distributed systems. - Extensive experience building secure, scalable, and maintainable REST APIs. - Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning. - Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming/message-broker platforms. - Experience integrating applications with external enterprise systems and third-party APIs. - Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Entra ID integration. - Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes deployment models. - Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD. - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, testing strategies, and secure coding principles. Good to Have: - Experience with OpenBao for secrets management & Ansible deployment. - Exposure to API Gateway technologies and service mesh architectures. - Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Helm, and GitOps practices. - Working knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or another enterprise backend framework to support multi-language environments and cross-team collaboration - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Experience building high-volume, highly available enterprise APIs and integration platforms. |
