Provide technical guidance to a Scrum team developing our Finance software products using agile methodologies
Design and build highly available, secure, and scalable services
Collaborate with other tech leads and architects to design world-class software solutions Be an SME for various technical domains
Take ownership of the code base you work on
Mentoring team members to help build the best teams
Acquire a comprehensive domain knowledge of our products and business
Ensure code test coverage
You will be involved in projects from their inception through to delivery.

Working with Agile tools, techniques, and best practices like the Three Amigos to improve our products, focussing on delivering high business value features first.

Development -
Must have skills:

Advanced Power BI dashboard and report development
Strong expertise in DAX and complex calculations
Strong SQL knowledge including query optimization
Performance tuning and optimization for large datasets
Power Query and data transformation skills
Experience with Power BI Service, RLS, and governance
Basic knowledge of Azure, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or ADF
Strong understanding of BI, analytics, KPIs, and data storytelling o Good to have skills
ETL, Data Warehousing, and data integration experience
Data modelling using Star and Snowflake schema
Experience with API integrations and JSON data handling
Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD processes
Advanced Excel and Power Platform knowledge
Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Communication - Effective communicator at all levels from team members to stakeholders and senior management. Able to give clear and concise instruction and ensure everyone is kept well-informed
System Testing - Ensure code coverage from unit testing to automated E2E QA tests
Troubleshooting - Ability to quickly understand problems and how to resolve them Experience Minimum 5 years' experience building web applications and systems using the Microsoft .Net platform o Power BI dashboard & report development o SQL, DAX and complex calculations o SQL Server, query optimization, SQL Profiler, o .NET, RESTful APIs
DLC - Requirements Gathering, Software Design, Development and QA Testing, CI/CD pipelines
Agile development environment using Scrum Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality software
Experience of a high-throughput, high-availability, software systems with a large user base
Ideally o Experience working in a Product-led development environment o Experience of product discovery methods. Experience in the EdTech industry.
