About The Job:
- We are seeking a skilled CAD Automation Engineer with strong expertise in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and VB.NET/.NET technologies.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions to improve design efficiency, reduce manual effort, and streamline engineering workflows.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and implement CAD automation solutions using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor APIs
- Design and maintain automation tools using VB.NET/.NET framework
- Automate repetitive design tasks, drawing generation, and model updates
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automation scripts/tools
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation practices
Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Proficiency in VB.NET / .NET programming
- Hands-on experience with CAD automation and API-based development
- Understanding of engineering design workflows and drawings
- Experience with iLogic (Inventor) or scripting tools
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Exposure to data handling, file processing, or integration workflows
- Experience in large-scale automation projects
