QA/Automation Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/Automation Engineer with extensive experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and a proven track record in testing Web Services, Web UI, APIs, Mobile Apps, and Salesforce applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright and Selenium.
• Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Utilize automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
• Customize default reports and libraries of Playwright.
• Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Implement strategies for managing and provisioning test data efficiently.
• Work effectively to transform innovative ideas to fruition.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automated tests.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and analyze results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years focused on test automation using Java and any test tool.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and other automation tools.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, or other functional languages.
• Well-versed in writing SQL queries for Postgres & Snowflakes.
• Experience in leveraging core AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for Test Automation.
• Familiarity with AWS architecture and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Mobile app automation knowledge is a plus.
