Role: Digital Front End Developer (Design)

Location: Mumbai, India

About the role:

You will support end-to-end digital ad production and delivery, with a strong focus on HTML5 banners and dynamic creative at scale. Working across creative, media and operations teams, you'll adapt and optimize assets for display and social, manage DCO content and feeds, and maintain the asset library to ensure timely, high-quality media fulfilment.

What you will be doing:

  • Adapt and resize ads from HTML5 masters for various placements and platforms.
  • Produce DCO variants for display and social at scale, including creative updates and optimisation.
  • Manage dynamic creative content, feeds and templates (prepare, test and deploy).
  • Prepare and maintain assets and the asset library (naming, versioning, QA).
  • Hand-code HTML5 banner ads and implement animations/interactivity.
  • Implement and troubleshoot animations with GSAP (Greensock) and JavaScript.
  • Build display ads using Google Web Designer and Creative Management Platforms (e.g., Celtra, Smartly, Flashtalking, Sizmek).
  • Ensure final creative meets format best practices, layout/design guidelines and ad platform requirements.
  • Test creatives across browsers and devices, validate clickthroughs, tracking and dynamic data.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, trafficking and media teams to meet deadlines and campaign goals.

What you need (required):

  • Proven experience in HTML5 banner development (hand-coding) and rich media production.
  • Strong JavaScript (including animation libraries such as GSAP) and CSS skills.
  • Hands-on experience with DCO/dynamic creative: templates, dynamic feeds, and data-driven creative workflows.
  • Experience with CMPs and ad builders: Celtra, Smartly, Flashtalking, Sizmek and/or Google Web Designer.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets-driven feeds and Google Creative Studio / Ads Creative Studio (or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of display ad format best practices, layout and optimisation for performance.
  • Attention to detail, strong QA mindset, and ability to troubleshoot cross-platform issues.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills; able to work with multiple stakeholders and manage priorities.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ad servers and tracking/debugging tools.
  • Prior exposure to programmatic or DSP-related workflows.
  • Familiarity with social ad formats and platform-specific constraints (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok).
