Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have**
(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)
1. 6-10 years of relevant experience in DevOps
2. Should have been part of a team that did at least 1 Cloud migration.
3. Expertise in operating a Linux environment with high proficiency in scripting using groovy, bash/shell and AWS/GCP/AZure CLI or with OpenStack Cloud.
4. Must have experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process for enterprise SaaS and on-prem applications using tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc
5. Should have experience in Jenkins Pipeline scripts.
6. Hands-on experience in using one of the configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Fabric, Puppet, or SaltStack.
7. Hands-on experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, etc, GCP
8. Hands-on experience to build and handle VMs, Containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker (container, networking, volumes, swarm), etc.
9. Working in regulation with industry-standard best practices in close coordination with integration and deployment team.
10. Experience provisioning public cloud(aws, gcp, azure) infrastructure using infrastructure as code(IaC) with Terraform.
11. Have ability to write reusable, modular and well performing code in terrafrom.
12. DevOps engineer must have effective leadership and cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
13. Must have an automation mindset to study/analyze the landscape and build/propose tools.
