Release Manager

Years of exp : 8+ with at least 5+ relevant experience.

Skills /Competencies:

· Work with Product Owners and Engineers to develop implementation plans for various releases within the tribe.

· Analyse user groups to plan and conduct release engagement interactions

· Develop and present complex schedule and dependency plans which meet successful release criteria

· Understand, co-ordinate, resolve and tracking a range of complex interdependencies required for a successful release outcome

· Understand, facilitating and ensuring that key release related activities are completed

· Co-ordinate and/or execute moderate to complex deployment activities

· Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews

· Raise Change Record and seek required approvals from stakeholders

· Participate in the Change Advisory Board meetings and present the change, discuss the release scope and roadblocks

· Plan and lead the dry runs before the release

· Produce Deployment Run Books and Implementation Plans and conduct the walkthrough of the implementation plan with the wider audience.

· Negotiate, plan and manage all implementation activities

· Lead and co-ordinate the go-Live activities including the execution of the implementation Plans and checklists.

· Encourage common implementation skills across Technology Areas to enable others to manage change in a complex operating environment

· Assist business with complex risk profiling – identify and assess risks and controls

· Able to build strong and influential stakeholder relationships

· Drive continuous improvement of implementation content, coming out of retrospectives
