- Should have experience across the IT DR lifecycle implementation including IT Infrastructure understanding, BIA, RA, Recovery Strategies and IT DR documentation
- Should have good clarity of IT DR concepts
- Should be able to demonstrate the ability to apply IT DR concepts in real time and lead the engagements
- Should have good experience in servers, routers, switches, bandwidths.
- Deep understanding of AD, DNS, NTP, DHCP, LDAP and security controls like firewalls, SIEM, IPS, etc.
- Design and implementation of automation workflows for consistent deployment of Disaster Recovery systems incl. database and file system replication and preparation of network routing
- Participate in the evaluation of new visualization and platform technologies such as VMware or public IaaS solutions like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
- Support troubleshooting of exceptional cases in a 3rd level support role. This includes communication with customers on technical and operations topics, handle escalated customer cases
- Creating knowledge transfer and technical documentation, incl. technical operational concepts, process flows and guidelines
- Monitor key infrastructure components like database, servers, CI systems and public facing services for performance degradation, downtimes and security breaches
- Should have good experience in Load balancers, Application middleware, and database technologies.
- Experience of collaborating with technology teams as well as business continuity teams
- Understanding of Licensing schemes, Switchover and Switchback methodologies ISO 22301 certified professionals will have an added advantage
