Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. The role is responsible for developing test strategies, designing automation frameworks, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases. The successful candidate will drive testing best practices, improve automation coverage, and support continuous delivery initiatives.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative Agile environment while gaining exposure to modern test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise software development.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements, system specifications, and technical documentation to develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
  • Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, interface, and end-to-end testing.
  • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with Development, Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure complete test coverage and software quality.
  • Analyze test results, log and track defects, validate bug fixes, and perform regression testing.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall QA practices.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, testing processes, and delivery timelines.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriver, or Appium.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols, and web technologies.
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing best practices.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation.
  • Experience working with manual and automation testing frameworks in Agile environments.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
  • ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional, or equivalent testing certifications are an added advantage.
