One of India's fastest-growing Treasury & FinTech platform providers is looking for a seasoned technology leader to drive execution excellence across product development and large-scale client implementations.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who combines deep engineering expertise with strong delivery discipline. Exposure to Treasury, Banking, or Financial Markets will be a significant advantage.

Role Overview

As Vice President - Engineering & Delivery, you will own end-to-end technology delivery - leading product development as well as customer implementations. You will lead a team of architects, engineering managers, developers, testers, and implementation specialists while working closely with Product, Business, Client Services, and senior leadership.

You will bring a strong builder mindset, the ability to simplify complex problems, and proven experience delivering enterprise-grade platforms in multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Leadership

  • Own delivery across all product development, enhancements, maintenance, and client implementation programs
  • Build and enforce strong project governance, milestone tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication frameworks
  • Drive predictable, high-quality, and on-time delivery with clear accountability

Technology Oversight

  • Guide architecture and design decisions focusing on scalability, performance, resilience, and seamless integrations
  • Review critical designs, database models, APIs, and integration strategies
  • Promote reusability, standardization, and modern engineering practices (Microservices, Cloud, DevOps)

Team & Capability Building

  • Mentor and develop engineering managers, architects, and senior technical talent
  • Build a high-performance engineering culture rooted in ownership, transparency, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with HR to attract, retain, and grow top engineering talent

Stakeholder & Domain Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Business, and Client teams to align delivery priorities
  • Engage directly with key customers during implementations, escalations, and strategic initiatives
  • Apply strong domain understanding of treasury workflows, financial instruments, banking interfaces, and compliance requirements

Process Excellence

  • Strengthen Agile/Scrum execution with real-world delivery rigor
  • Institutionalize key metrics - velocity, defect rates, deployment reliability, and release cadence
  • Bring discipline to estimation, capacity planning, documentation, and quality assurance

Requirements

  • 15-20 years of experience in enterprise software delivery or product engineering
  • Proven experience leading large, multi-team delivery programs at Director / AVP / VP or equivalent level
  • Strong full-stack engineering understanding (UI, APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud architectures)
  • Hands-on exposure to .NET, Java, Python, or similar scalable enterprise technology stacks
  • Solid experience with relational databases, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
  • Treasury, Banking, Financial Markets, Payments, or ERP domain experience is a strong advantage
  • Excellent leadership presence, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
