Job Summary:

\n

\n

The Fund-raiser will play a crucial role in identifying and generating both Corporate and HNI leads for our Corporate & Individual Social Responsibility initiatives. This role requires a proactive and dynamic individual who can generate leads, identify potential partners, build relationships, and convert them into active & recurring engagements that align with our CSR & Fund-raising goals. The candidate must have a strong understanding of CSR Policies, Procedures, Processes, Compliance, Due Diligence, Impact Monitoring & Reporting, combined with excellent networking skills, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Candidate should have an exposure to the Education Ecosystem in India (private & public) and related Government policies and initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead Generation:
  2. \n
\n

\n
    \n
  • Identify and research potential CSR partners & Donors, including corporations, foundations in India & abroad, Government agencies, and other relevant organizations.
  • \n
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including online research, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.
  • \n
  • Maintain a comprehensive database & pipeline of potential partners, with robust follow-up strategies & methodologies including regular tracking & reporting of all the outreach and engagement activities.
  • \n

  1. Networking and Relationship Building:
  2. \n

    \n
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including CSR Personnel, CXOs, CEOs, Directors & Manging Directors, influential Community Leaders, and Industry Leaders.
  • \n
  • Attend Industry events, CSR conferences & awards functions, and relevant meetings to expand the organization’s network and CSR Partner base.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage existing relationships and identify new opportunities for partnerships.
  • \n

  1. Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively generate CSR interest in our interventions and realise partnership goals.
  • \n
  • Analyse market trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities for CSR engagement.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the development of CSR-focused programs and initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on lead generation & CSR engagement activities.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Communication and Outreach:

  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and curated pitches to potential partners.
  • \n
  • Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content, to build, expand, nurture and sustain CSR Partners and other potent fund-raising avenues.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and execute outreach campaigns targeting potential CSR partners.
  • \n

  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  2. \n
\n

\n
    \n
  • Analyse lead generation data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • \n
  • Tracking and reporting regularly as decided by the HOD regarding lead generation activities, number of leads generated, presentations made, proposals submitted & converted, conversion rates, and other outreach outcomes.
  • \n
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of the Institution / CSR Head or Director / Chief Functionary on the progress with respect to lead-generation, outreach, presentation & proposals, fund-raising projections and actuals vs projections.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field. (MSW or TISS etc)
  • \n
  • Proven 4-5 years of experience in lead generation, engagement and conversion / business development, or a similar role, preferably within the social sector.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility principles and practices.
  • \n
  • Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and lead generation tools.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • \n
  • Passion for social impact and sustainability.
