Role Overview \nWe are seeking a senior Media Relations & Influencer Engagement Consultant with deep expertise in the Indian communications ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong editorial judgment, extensive media intelligence and well-established relationships across national, regional and digital media.
\nThis role requires a communications professional who understands India's diverse linguistic and cultural landscape and can seamlessly integrate traditional media outreach with influencer engagement to build brand reputation and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities \n%CF; Lead strategic media relations initiatives across India, including national, regional and vernacular media.
\n%CF; Develop and execute integrated media and influencer engagement strategies aligned with client objectives.
\n%CF; Secure high-impact coverage across Tier 1 newspapers, business publications, television, digital media and industry platforms.
\n%CF; Build and leverage trusted relationships with senior journalists, editors, bureau chiefs, television producers, podcast hosts and opinion writers.
\n%CF; Identify and engage relevant influencers, creators, subject matter experts and digital opinion leaders across North, South, East, West and North-East India, based on campaign objectives.
\n%CF; Develop regional outreach strategies that leverage local-language media and hyperlocal influencers alongside national campaigns.
\n%CF; Advise clients on thought leadership, executive profiling, interviews, op-eds, feature stories, podcasts and long-form editorial content.
\n%CF; Monitor media trends and provide market intelligence, editorial insights and stakeholder mapping.
\n%CF; Support reputation management, crisis communications and issue-based media engagement when required.
\n%CF; Collaborate with internal strategy, content and digital teams to deliver integrated communication campaigns.
Key Requirements \n%CF; Minimum 6+ years of experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, Corporate Communications or Strategic Communications.
\n%CF; Strong understanding of India's media, business, policy and editorial landscape.
\n%CF; Well-established relationships with senior journalists, editors, television producers, digital editors, podcast hosts and business media across India.
\n%CF; Extensive network across national, regional and vernacular media in North, South, East, West and North-East India.
\n%CF; Demonstrated experience working with influencers, content creators, digital opinion leaders and regional creators across multiple industries.
\n%CF; Proven track record of securing placements in Tier 1 national publications, regional newspapers, television channels, digital platforms, podcasts and industry publications.
\n%CF; Excellent understanding of influencer identification, outreach, relationship management and campaign execution.
\n%CF; Strong storytelling, editorial judgment and strategic communication skills.
\n%CF; Ability to independently manage media outreach, stakeholder engagement and integrated communication campaigns.
\n%CF; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n%CF; High levels of professionalism, credibility, discretion and relationship management.
Preferred Experience \n%CF; Experience working with agencies, consulting firms or integrated marketing and communications organizations.
\n%CF; Exposure to sectors such as technology, AI, healthcare, sustainability, public policy, finance, education, manufacturing, real estate or consumer brands.
\n%CF; Experience managing campaigns that combine earned media, digital PR, executive thought leadership and influencer marketing.

\n%CF; Ability to collaborate with cross-functional marketing, content and performance teams to deliver measurable communication outcomes.
