About The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven professional to strengthen our underwriting governance, portfolio quality, and risk frameworks. The role demands a robust understanding of mortgage credit policies across prime and affordable segment, sharp analytical acumen, and the ability to translate audit insights into actionable portfolio improvements.

Core Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Case Review & Credit Audit - Undertake comprehensive reviews of underwritten cases to ensure strict adherence to established credit policies, risk frameworks, and underwriting guidelines
  • \n
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Delinquency Deep-Dive - Conduct in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) of delinquent and high-risk cases to identify underlying drivers of credit deterioration
  • \n
  • Policy Review & Strategic Recommendations - Leverage insights from audits and delinquency analysis to recommend refinements to credit policies, underwriting norms, and risk filters
  • \n
  • Training & Capability Development - Design and deliver targeted training interventions for underwriting and credit teams to address knowledge gaps and improve decision-making capabilities
  • \n
  • Quality Assurance & Governance - Drive governance standards by proactively identifying risks, control gaps, and process inefficiencies
  • \n

Key Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Experience: Around 5-7 years of core underwriting or risk-audit experience preferred (with a strong understanding of mortgage industry including LAP & HL across prime and affordable segments)
  • \n
  • Core Skills: Strong command over credit risk assessment, underwriting principles, and policy interpretation.
  • \n
  • Preferred Background: Prior exposure to credit audit, portfolio monitoring, or delinquency analysis is highly preferred.
  • \n
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • Mindset: High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership, objective judgment, and accountability.
