Cold Email Campaign Manager
Job Description
We're a done-for-you B2B cold email agency. We build the sending infrastructure, the lead lists, and the campaign strategy for our clients — and we book them qualified sales calls. We're looking for an experienced Campaign Manager to own the day-to-day execution and deliverability of our client campaigns so they hit their booked-call targets every month.
\nThis is not an entry-level VA role. You must have already run cold email campaigns at volume — thousands of sends per day across many inboxes — for an agency or multiple clients. If you've only sent a few hundred emails from one inbox, this isn't for you yet.
\nWhat you'll own
\n- \n
- Building and launching campaigns in Instantly and/or Smartlead from the strategy and copy we hand you — sequences, scheduling, inbox assignment, lead uploads. \n
- \n
- Deliverability health: monitoring bounce rates, inbox placement (spam testing), warmup status, and DNS/SPF/DKIM/DMARC. Rotating and pausing inboxes before problems spread. Keeping mail landing in the inbox. \n
- \n
- Running our testing protocol: A/B testing angles, subject lines, and CTAs in the correct order, respecting minimum sample sizes, and making kill / iterate / scale calls against clear numeric thresholds we'll give you. \n
- \n
- Maintaining the client scorecard: updating each client's weekly numbers (sends, reply rate, positive replies, interested leads, calls booked) and setting a red/yellow/green status with a one-line reason. \n
- \n
- Flagging problems and escalating the right things at the right time — not sitting on a dying campaign for a week. \n
What you will NOT do (so we're clear): you won't be writing final copy from scratch (we review all copy), building lead lists (a separate teammate does that), or handling inbound replies/booking (also handled separately). Your job is execution and performance.
\nYou're a fit if you have
\n- \n
- 2+ years running cold email campaigns at agency volume. \n
- Hands-on mastery of Instantly and/or Smartlead (name others you've used: Lemlist, Apollo, etc.). \n
- Real understanding of email deliverability — you can explain why a campaign lands in spam and how to fix it. \n
- Comfort reading campaign analytics and making data-based decisions, not guesses. \n
- Strong written English (you'll read replies and coordinate with the owner daily). \n
- Reliable full-time availability with a few hours of daily overlap with the owner's working hours for a weekly review + ad-hoc syncs. \n
Nice to have: experience with domain/inbox setup and reseller tools (Google Workspace, Maildoso, Zapmail, etc.), lead-data tools, and spam/placement testers (GlockApps, MailReach, Instantly's placement test).
\nCompensation: Competitive monthly base + monthly performance bonus tied to client results (calls booked/held). PFull-time, long-term. Room to grow into a Delivery Lead role as we scale past 10 clients.
\nHow to apply (read carefully): Reply with (1) the word INBOXED at the top so we know you read this, (2) the single best campaign you've run — audience, volume/day, and the reply rate or number of meetings it produced, and (3) which tools you used. Applications without a real metric will not be reviewed.
