As a Associate Systems Engineer in Bangalore, you will join a diverse, passionate team dedicated to powering the world's payments ecosystem!

Purpose of the Systems Engineer Role

Implements, configures and contributes to the design of moderately complex systems for internal and external customers. Assists in performing analysis on existing systems as well as overall system maintenance. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates subsystem design and total system integration. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies and develops recommended corrective actions.

A Typical Day at ACI for a Systems Engineer

  • Participate in engineering and configuring routine and moderately complex technical solutions for application/system implementations and upgrades based on business requirements.

  • Engineer, configure, and assist in architecting moderately complex solutions for application/system implementations and upgrades, including inhouse, thirdparty, or hybrid solutions.

  • Perform daytoday system administration and monitoring tasks for assigned systems.

  • Work with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve technical system issues, focusing on moderate to complex problems.

  • Anticipates and raises project, business, and technical issues to the appropriate resource, logs issues and participates in their resolution.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Understand and adhere to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed to Succeed

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting development and production environments.

  • Linux (RedHat) - minimum 2 years of administration & troubleshooting experience.

  • Windows Server Administration - minimum 1 year.

  • Zabbix Administration - 1 to 2 years (setup, tuning, maintenance).

  • Grafana Cloud Administration - 1 to 2 years.

  • Scripting experience in Bash & Python.
