Brief Job Description: Process General Ledger and sub-ledger transactions in an accurate and timely manner Prepare period-end trial balances by Business Units Manage the trial balance and close the books in accordance with each CUSTOMER in-scope Business Unit and account requirements and CUSTOMER's hard close requirements Obtain clean audit opinion without reported unadjusted differences for areas controllable by Supplier, and no identified errors by the external and internal auditors within listing scope of each stand-alone audit Prepare GL reconciliations Promptly respond to inquiries of various internal and external stakeholders Book General Ledger transactions on the basis of GAAP Ensure adherence to the SLA Ensure all the activities are completed within due dates specified by CLIENT Initiate and facilitate continuous process improvements Make sure all the documentations are completed Meeting accuracy and productivity goals Competencies Required: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Understanding of end-to-end processes and appreciation of critical parameters Problem identification and analytical ability. Strong knowledge of MS Office Ability to work with cross-cultural Self-initiative, drive and zeal for continuous improvement. Ability to discharge the responsibilities in a conflicting environment Strong Customer Focus Strong Motivational Skills Ability to lead in a continually challenging environment. Conformance with Policies/Compliances Fosters a spirit of collaboration and teamwork Intellectually agile and analytical Technical Skill Requirements: Strong accounting knowledge which includes preparation of JE and reconciliations Intercompany accounting knowledge SAP Experience preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of other Tools/ ERPs like BlackLine, will be added advantage.
